The CIFP ARMERIA ESKOLA LHII is a vocational training institute in the Basque Country, founded in 1912, and located in the village of Eibar, midway from the capital cities of Gasteiz , Donostia and Bilbo .

As a Public Institution committed to quality and continuous improvement, in line with our vision, our institute has participated in various international projects since 2004-05 year course. We got the Erasmus Charter for the period 2007-2013 and have obtained the new Erasmus Charter 2014-20 2020 for higher education, a prerequisite for participating in the program now called Erasmus +, until the 2020-2021 year course.

Armeria Eskola aims to train highly valued professionals with entrepreneurial spirit and able to work in international environments. There is no doubt that international programs provide our students and staff with valuable work experiences that allow them to develop their personal, social, professional, and intercultural skills in line with our Institution´s strategy.

Erasmus and Leonardo grants (now KA103 and KA102)

Armeria Eskola together with Ikaslan Gipuzkoa, offers its students the possibility of doing their work placements in companies in the European Union thanks to hitherto known as Erasmus and Leonardo grants.

The former are intended for students in the second year of advanced vocational training studies, and the latter for students in the second year of middle vocational training studies.

Grants include

  • Roundtrip flights
  • Coordination and support in the country of destination.
  • The 12-week-stay and tutoring in a company.
  • Insurance
  • Accommodation.

Grants do not include

  • Pocket money.
  • Meals.

Procedure for applying for scholarships

1) Application form

Interested students will fill in the application form(*) and give it to their tutor or leave it in the general secretary in the first three weeks of September.

* Applications submitted after the deadline or with incomplete data will be rejected.

2) Selection of candidates

The selection of candidates will be carried out in mid-October. Applications will be prioritized using the following criteria:

  • Academic record (applications from students who have not passed all subjects in the previous year will not be accepted).
  • Language(s) level (s) (certificates, etc).
  • Applicants studying subjects in English (trilingual Cycles).
  • Teamwork skills, attitude, teachers´ reports, etc.
  • Personal interviews when necessary.
